welcome to my company Simone Astrid Jewelry

I am Simone Bischofberger. My exploration of the world of jewelry started at the age of 14, when I created my first quartz pendent. A fascination for various materials, gemstones and techniques was born.

Though I imagined myself as a professional jeweler/goldsmith, my life played out differently and I started my career in the tourism and event industry. Working with people the world over nourished my curiosity to explore different cultures and art, and I decided take a trip around the globe. I stopped in Chiang Mai, Thailand, to learn silversmithing and yoga. Upon returning to Switzerland I wanted to keep on creating, and that’s when I started taking classes to learn more about jewelry-making techniques and materials.

I’ve created my own pieces for over eight years now. I love the contrast between the fast-paced world of event-planning, and the soothing world of metalsmithing.
